5/6: RED Day– Big Band and Small Choir

WRESTLING: They beat Triton 57-13 last night.  Congratulations!  JV/Varsity will travel to Chisago Lakes for a tournament on Saturday.  Bus leaves at 6:00 a.m.

GIRLS BASKETBALL: Girls will host Fillmore Central TODAY.  7/8 in the West Gym at 4:30 p.m.  .JV in the East Gym at 5:45 p.m.

BOYS BASKETBALL: They will play Fillmore Central in Preston TODAY.  7, 8 and C students dismissed at 2:20 p.m. Bus leaves at 2:30 p.m.  JV and Varsity bus leaves at 3:30 p.m.
7/8 will travel to Goodhue for a tournament on Saturday.  Bus leaves at 7:50 a.m.

HAT TREE: There is a FREE HAT TREE in the commons area.  Need a hat? Take a Hat!  Like a Hat?  Take a hat but do something nice for someone else.  This Hat tree is brought to you by Larson's 11th grade advisory class. 

ONE ACT PLAY AUDITIONS:  Students in grades 7-12 are invited to audition for our school’s competition One Act Play “In the Forests of the Night” on Friday, Dec. 6 from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. No experience is required. Please contact Mr. Reynolds with any questions.

HS WINTER PLAY: Auditions are on Tuesday, Dec. 10, from 3:15-5 PM in the auditorium. The play is Almost, Maine. At auditions, those trying out for a speaking part will cold read an excerpt from the script and fill out an audition form. Students who don't want a speaking part but are willing to help backstage only need to fill out the audition form. Contact Randy Hockinson, Jordan Blowers, or Hailee Bolton with questions.

FFA: Chapter Meeting Thursday at 7:30 a.m. in the Agriculture Room. Fruit also arrives Thursday and needs to be picked up at the end of the school day. 

JUNIORSYou have been sent an email from Mr. Ryan about the MSHSL ExCEL Award.  The ExCEL Award – Excellence in Community, Education and Leadership I would encourage all juniors who meet the “Nomination Criteria” to complete and submit a Nomination Form.  Nominations need to be submitted to Mr. Ryan no later than 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.  Mr. Ryan and Mr. Wieme (Activities Director) will review the applications.  Please see Mr. Ryan if you have any questions or need any help with your application.

SNOWMOBILE SAFETY COURSEThe Covered Bridge Riders Snowmobile Club will be hosting a Snowmobile Safety Training Field Day on Saturday, Dec. 14th, 2024. There are 2 parts required to receive a Snowmobile Safety Certificate. First, an online class must be completed. Once complete, the student will be eligible for the Dec.14th Field Day. The student MUST pass the online test before they can participate in the Field Day Training. Please bring the proof of completion to the Field Day. The online training is $29.95.
