RE:                         Inclement Weather Care – Services on Late Start, Early Dismissal and School Closing days

Inclement Weather: Knights Kids will be open for care from 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. when school is canceled for the entire day.
Late Start: Knights Kids will open at 7:00 a.m. on days school starts late.
Early Release/Dismissal:  Knights Kids will provide care from dismissal time to 5:00 p.m. when school dismisses early.

Please read the policies specific to each program and review fees below:

• Childcare Families: If your child is between ages 33 months through 6 years and attends the Knights Kids Childcare program during the school day, your contract includes care if it is a day your child is scheduled to attend the Knights Kids Childcare. You will be billed whether or not they attend.

• School Age Care Families: If your child is in Kindergarten through grade 5 and attends the Knights Kids before and after school program, to attend Knights Kids on an Inclement Weather Day, you must preregister for this service. Families who register for this service will be billed whether their child attends or not, even if that date is not listed on your child’s calendar for that month.
• A $10.00 registration fee will be applied to registrations received after October 7^th, 2020. Registrations will be accepted on a space available basis.
• Staffing is set based on pre-registration. Registrations will NOT be accepted on an actual late start or early dismissal or closed school day.
• A parent/guardian arriving after the closing time will be assessed a late fee of $1.00 for every one (1) minute after 5:00 p.m.

If you wish to register your school age child for this service, fill out the form below and return to either Knights Kids site or to the Community Education office. You will be billed for the care requested as outlined above, even if your child does not attend.
