Grand Opening of Mother's Rooms at K-W

The Kenyon-Wanamingo Public Schools is pleased to announce the grand opening of their dedicated mothersrooms. The room in Kenyon is located next to the community education office and the Wanamingo space is adjacent to the district office. This announcement coincides with the March 27th School Board approval of a new policy supporting break times for nursing mothers. This is also exceptionally good timing as the K-W instructional staff is preparing for a baby boom.

The private rooms will be available to all employees and to the public upon request. The K-W schools would like to acknowledge the support of a Live Well Goodhue County mini-grant which helped equip the mothers’ rooms. The school staff will be happy to present the rooms to the media upon request.
